Just came back from lunch at Vaticano. My friend and I went there expressly to try their pizzas after reading the glowing reviews. Service was prompt and adequate. We ordered a St. Luke and a St. Joseph which were brought to our table just out of the oven ( unlike most places in Yeg where the pizzas come to the table tepid). From the first bites the pies felt doughy, soft and sticky even though the surfaces were nicely charred. The soppressata in the St Luke tasted as if it had been pre-sliced a few days before. The rest of the toppings were ordinary and could not lift the pies from their mediocrity (12/19/2017)"
