I went to a dumpling stall near the LIRR station in Flushing with a co-worker in 2000. What stood out was the sheer variety of dumplings available -- if memory serves me correctly there were probably 20 to 25 options.
While looking into the dumpling stalls in Flushing, it seems that most of them (Nan Bei, White Bear, etc.) have a handful of varieties available, usually no more than 5.
Can anyone make a recommendation for a dumpling stall, stand, etc. that has -- first and foremost a great product -- but also a large variety of steamed / fried dumplings on offer?
