I need some variety in breadmaking

I have been making pretty much all my own bread for a while, and have a developed a recipe I really like.

Basically, I've been making a loaf with 1 part Whole wheat to 5 parts white. I include softened buglar wheat to the dough (a fair bit of it) and I season the bread with sage and rosemary. Also, I use milk instead of water.

I started thinking about variations this weekend. When I couldn't come up with anything interested, I figured I'd seek outside help.

I typically eat it for breakfast, but sometimes for PB&J, grilled cheese, etc. I want something that makes really good toast.

I need to change this somehow, but I'm not sure what to do. What would you do (if your mother asked you)?
