I buy vanilla extract all the time (pure, not immitation), and I went into the super market today to buy some more. They only had one brand on the shelf, and it wasn't my usual brand, and it was only a large bottle. But I picked it up anyway. When I got to the register it rang up as $25! Is this obscene? Have I just been buying a cheap brand all along without knowing it? Am I crazy to not want to spend $25 on a bottle of vanilla?
