Chicago Chowhound here looking for a recommendation for dim sum Sunday lunch and an upscale Monday night dinner. There will be three couples, two of which are adventurous and not overly ambiance v quality of food orientated and a third couple in their 70's who are a wee bit more ambiance conscious.
From reading the board my impression is that the Imperial's dim sum, with it's view of the harbor, is the perfect blend of ambiance and quality of offerings, but I would appreciate input from fellow Canadian Chowhounds.
If you would care to offer a suggestion for Monday dinner that would be appreciated as well, same parameters, four adventurous eaters and two who value a polite waiter and sparkling tableware equally with interesting dining.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may offer.
