Visited Valentino last night for a late dinner. Arrived 9:00 and got one of the private 'bungalo' tables near the bar. Started with white bean & black kale soup, a nice puree served with 2 seared baby scallops (excellent). Next we doubled-up with the lobster salad (very good) and the prosciutto w/ figs (excellent). Then split an order of the risotto di mare (excellent!!). Enjoyed a bottle of the Pride viognier (very good). Lazily made it through an order of canoli & an espresso...did not make it out the door until almost midnight.
Although not my most extravagant visit, this was my most enjoyable and satisfying experience here. All staff members were accommodating and pleasant the entire night. Food & wine were top-notch.
