Tried to go to Watercress last night (sans reservation) only to find they had a special V-Day Prix Fixe (at $50!) so decided to go to Last Supper Club instead. Shared an unremarkable hearts of romaine salad with vinaigrette, sliced radishes and crumbled blue cheese. Very bland -- I would not order this again. My entree was spinach fettucine with fresh mushrooms and truffle oil and was terrific. The other entree was the steak with onion rings which was pronounced "fantastic". I'm usually not big on LSC but these entrees were quite impressive.

We did not order dessert but with the bill came a complimentary champagne flute filled with strawberry mousse with two pirouette cookies. Nice touch.

Total bill (with two sidecars and a vodka tonic) including tip was $78.

Incidentally, there's a yellow placard in the window stating there's a change in ownership pending. I guess the Luna Park folks are leaving this location? Anyone have any details?
