Reading the posts below on other experiences Saturday, and based on our experience at Cashion's, following so close on the heels of Restaurant Week...aiee!!!
We were seated a half hour late. There was a very limited prix-fixe menu on an all-reservations night, but with all of that tight planning, they ran out of four things that I knew about: They ran out of one of the two first-course options. They ran out of one of the two second-course options. They ran out of one of the desserts. And they were out of the wine we wanted.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I've never had such a frustrating experience and I'll certainly never go there on a big night again. It was overbooked, and the kitchen was overextended. Thank goodness for the soothing effects of good wine.
To her credit, our waitress was really nice, comped us our dessert wine, and gave us tastes of various items. But I was truly flabbergasted.
