Valentines in the City?

I'm looking to take my wife out for a nice Valentines dinner the weekend -before- Valentines Day. Here are my requirements; I'm sure you Hounders have some opinions. I have 3 absolute necessities:

MUST be in Manhattan as we live in Brooklyn and know the hot spots here. We need a reason to cross the bridge now and then...

MUST be able to give a Saturday night reservation with this short (3 weeks) notice.

MUST not exceed $200 with wine and tip.

So this probably whittles down the list of usual French ( and other ) suspects that I can't book a table at before 2007 and also can't afford.

I'm after quieter rather than louder. I'm up for ANY cuisine from ANYWHERE. Classic French is great, but so is Asian, or Turkish, or -anything- that is somewhat upscale, romantic and -special-.

Extra points for Downtown.
