Hi everyone. My mother-in-law says she can't locate authentic Swiss Vacherin in Toronto since having it in Switzerland over 20 years ago. It's my understanding that Vacherin a la Main is unavailable in the city, since it's a raw milk cheese (could be wrong though), but that the pasturized Vacherin Mont D'or is just as good and can be found at better cheese/food shops.
Can any of you fab chowhounds out there help me locate some Vacherin cheese? Also, what kind of ballpark price can I expect to pay?
