I'm heading to Barbados in December with my family. (Husband and 2 teenage boys.) We're staying in St. James Parish not far from Holetown. We are staying in a house, not a hotel so we'd like to do some of our own cooking and also go out to eat. Can anyone recommend a grocery or market nearby and some restaurants? My kids don't like anything too fancy when we're on vacation. We are very adventurous eaters and we'll be renting a car so anywhere on the island is fine with us if you have a special place that you think is great.
