Had the $100 omakase-great sahimi, pork belly, turbo shell cooked hamachi style, incredible sushi, miso soup with shrimp head. There were two things i hadn't has ever before which i'd appreciate anyone shedding some light on- one was an eggplant soup which was unbelievably good, the spoon had a little Japanese cartoon eggplant character. The other was a hot egg custard with a shrimp and some other white fish and what appeared to be some green peas or perhaps emame underneath the smooth egg custard. It was served steaming hot although I thought it might have also been interesting if served cold. Sake selection was also great. I'd have to put Ushi in the top five after Yasuda and Kuruma. Haven't been to Masa yet but have been to virtually every other sushi bar in the city multiple times.
