So my family and I went to Upstairs on the Square this past Saturday night, and it was just fantastic in every way possible. Between the six of us, we ordered almost the enire menu (and one of everything for dessert). Each and every dish was amazing and almost flawless, though the clams with tagliatelli from slightly too much salt, but that's probably just my taste since I am very salt-sensitive. The deliciousness of the fiddlehead ferns and homemade pasta in the dish more than made up for it though. The bluefin tuna app was so exceptionally flavorful, as were the amuse bouche, turtles, sorbets, and ice creams. The total came to about $100 per person including tip, which is a bit less than I expected and always a pleasant surprise.
Furthermore, the service was top notch, and the little extras like an amuse bouche and delicious chocolates with the bill were that little extra that really impressed me. We all agreed that the decor was so creative and adorable. In fact, my bedroom is the same color as the bar stools downstairs, so I felt right at home!
I am planning on getting back there soon to try the downstairs, I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on must-haves??
