Upper Crust, Beacon Hill, Boston

Intrigued by a post of Chuck S., I dragged a bunch of pals out to the Upper Crust on Charles Street. Thanks Chuck!

The thin crust is excellent and ranks as one of my favorites around here. The toppings and sauce were competent but not commenserate with the quality of the crust. Overall, it's a good place for a slice if the crust is of extreme importance.

I'm still on the lookout for a rich olive-oily tomato sauce, the type that soaks through a crust like in 5 to 10 minutes. Nothing makes a pizza more lusty than a sauce like that.

Next stop: Haymarket pizza on Galleygirl's tip.
