I truly believe in giving a restaurant a chance to correct a problem. You may have seen the posting I made here at end of April about a disasterous meal we had at this restaurant near Allentown/Kutztown. I took the time to write a letter to the owner - who was not available when we were there. His name is Gary. I even followed up with a phone message on their answering
machine. I suggested that people avoid this restaurant - which apparantly had MAJOR changes as the menu the night we were there was nothing like the one on their web site nor what we were told by people who were there a year ago - until I heard back from the restaurant.
Since a few friends this weekend said they used to have good meals there. I gave ONE last try and called the restaurant today. I spoke with Gary, the owner. I asked if he received myn letter and message. He said he did. I then asked if he did not reply because he chose not to reply. He said "Yes, I chose not to reply".
So, it looks like the case is closed. The food was poor. Service sloppy, and the prices (2 entrees and no beverages, appetisers or dessert were $63.00). An now we have an owner who does not care. So, dine there at your own risk.
