I'll be travelling solo to Boston this Thursday from Toronto for the weekend! Going to see the Raptors and Leafs play, and most importantly can't wait to enjoy the magnificent food Boston has to offer. This is my third time visiting Boston, and its one of my favourite cities in the US. Staying in Back Bay at the Copley.
As for the food itinerary of my trip, I've made reservations for Row 34 on Thursday night (went two years ago and loved it) and made reservations for Island Creek Oyster Bar on Friday night before the Raptors game. My Saturday is pretty much open (thinking of a place in Little Italy before the Leafs game). Last time I was in Boston, went to the Daily Catch which I loved, though wondering what other place in Little Italy could I try before the game on Saturday? Something similar and with good seafood! Overall, I like really anything though mainly seafood, french bistro, Italian, sushi, tartare, and gastro pubs.
As well, looking for some good places for lunch in the afternoon. Union Oyster House caught my eye, and I heard Pizzeria Regina in Littly Italy is really good.
As for brunch, Saltie Girl caught my eye since its close to Back Bay. Porto as well. Any other good places you'd recommend for Saturday and Sunday? As well, some good local coffee places outside of the generic Starbucks?
For bars, I've heard the Fours is an alright sports bar and place for beers. Any good bars in Boston that you would recommend for craft beers? Into good stouts, ales, porters, IPA's and some good sours. As well, some good cocktail bars for late at night after the games?
Thanks! Can't wait to visit Boston again this weekend!
