Hi,

I'm an Atlanta chowhound traveling to Chicago next weekend and remaining on during the next week for business. My husband and I fly in on the 23rd and do not have a hotel reservation for the weekend. Any thoughts about the Hotel Intercontinental? On Monday night, I will be moving to the Crown Plaza Silversmith, courtesy of my company.

We are looking forward to sampling Chicago foods and need suggestions, as our time is limited. Assuming we could get a reservation at this late date, is Trio worth it? How about Trotter's? We'd like at least one fancy suggestion and many local-food suggestions.

Meanwhile, I'll try to do some research on this board for answers to similar questions...

Thanks in advance for your help!
