Unusual cucumbers

Found great little, unusual cucumbers at Earl Livingood's stand at the South & Passyunk farmers' market yesterday afternoon. They are "yellow cucumbers", totally round, the size and shape of a large peach. It has about the same seed to flesh ratio as your garden variety cucumber, but they are all in the center, like a melon, making it rather easy to seed. Taste is fresh and mild and the flesh is extraordinarily firm, which I like. He might still have them Saturday when he's at the Reading Terminal Market.
