Unscientific Survey #1-How far is too far?

So chowhounds...I don't know about you, but I travel by my stomach. It rules vacations, road trips, and short jaunts to visit friends. Where it wants to go, I follow. A hundred miles round trip is not unheard of for an evening meal. Many have us have done just that for the pilgrimage to the Inn at Little Washington (because, of course, once you have plunked down $300-$400 for dinner, who can afford the $600 a night room rates?). I also assume that Baltimoreans are willing to go to DC for a great meal, and vice versa. You may not be able to make the trek immediately, but you still want to know about it for future reference, right?.

Me? I am willing to venture from the West Virginian highlands to Rehoboth Beach, DE...from PA Dutch Country to Richmond. If the time is right, and the stomach dictates, into the car we go.

What say you, fellow chowhounds?
