Does anyone have a list of some of the more "off the beaten path" cuisines in Montreal?
Every city has its Indian, Persian, Greek, Vietnamese, Caribbean, Lebanese, Korean, etc. cuisine. I'm looking for some truly off the wall stuff that might be reflective of recent immigrant pools to Canada - anything from the formerly French Pondicheery region of India? Or how about former French colonies in Africa. In other words, what can I perhaps find here in Montreal that I can't find in NYC.
