We have now been to Fabbrica tonight (April 17, 2011) and in December, 2010. Both experiences were mediocre at best. But tonight the service was dreadful. We were there with our two kids, and specifically asked the server to bring the food when it was ready. We ordered some appetizers: insalta di fabbrica and olives. Both were OK, but nothing special! Then approximately 60mins later our main courses arrived after not seeing our server for some time (or anybody else who worked there). One of the mains was so poorly prepared that I sent it back (a bouillabaisse type dish - it tasted like seafood boiled in water). Someone (the manager??) who didn't introduce himself came to discuss why I returned the dish. When I told him it was awful, he agreed with me and said that they had to so something about this dish. The other pasta dishes and pizza were OK, but there are much better places in Toronto for pizza and pasta.
