At a recent dinner at Maestro, prawns and lobster were tranluscent in the center (plainly undercooked), in separate courses: the prawns appetizer that is currently being offered and a lobster ravioli pasta course. I have to assume that this was intentional -- particularly since TWO separate orders of the lobster ravioli at the table were more or less equally undercooked. on the other hand, this would seem to present extraordinary health hazards, and certainly neither the waiter nor the menu provided forwarning. any thoughts on this? in particular, does anyone have reason to know whether this was or was not intentional? (no need to respond by making the obvious point that i could have asked the waiter.) thanks.
