Where to get uncooked Papadum?

Robert Thornton | Apr 2, 2008 10:32 PM

I used to be able to get papadum at Whole Foods that actually crisps nicely in a microwave, which was a favorite snack of mine (and my daughter). Nice to have them in the pantry. They don't carry it anymore though. I've mail ordered some, but shipping is high, so I'm wondering if anyone knows a local source for the stuff. The brand I currently have says (on the English label) "Shri Mahila Griha Udyog Lijjat Papad". But I'm not particular about the brand. Maybe a market in Artesia, which I drive by occasionally?

Thanks,
-Robert
