Uncle Nick's Ouzaria

Went there last night for dinner, and had some really good greek tapas. Between the two of us, we ordered four plates, as the portions were quite large.
We had the an appetizer (the name escapes me) which was a combination of grilled lamb, pork, spicy sausage, and sweetbread. It had the most delicious sauce. Tangy and sweet, perfect for bread dipping. The grilled octopus was perfectly done, extremely tender and flavorful. It was served over chopped romaine lettuce and dressed in balsamic vinegar. Our third dish was a grilled pork tenderloin. Four thinly sliced pork tenderloin medallions in a sweet herbal marinade and grilled, again served over chopped romaine lettuce. Finally, we had the grilled shrimp with garlic butter sauce.

The best part was, the four dishes, a bottle of wine, coffee and dessert, came out to a <$100 tab. Not bad for a delicious and satisfying meal.

Couldn't help but notice the baked cheese appetizer. I'm not a cheese person, but the aroma was unbelivable. It comes out on a hot plate and is set aflame table-side, served with bread. Definitely will have to order it next time!
