Unbelievable in Bonaire

Robby Mathews has opened Unbelievable on Abraham Blvd. I have been for two dinners and a lunch. The inside decor is very South Beach with a lot of aqua hues and funky art deco lights and fixtures. The staff is learning the ropes offering prompt and courteous service. The barman is eager to please. Robby makes a great Margarita.

I love the roof top dining but one mention, the street and tied dogs barked throughout both of my dining experiences. One particuliarly loud Doberman tied to a chain across the way made dining difficult. Once he settled into sleep it was enjoyable eating under the stars. Also NO MOSSIES. Great not to get eaten in the Caribbean whilst eating.

I have had the local seafood and the seafood pasta. Robby uses fresh local Wahoo as that seems to be most available. The presentation is lovely in pretty bowls with nice glasses. He has added a nice touch.

Tis the season so lovely soft Xmas music was playing and the place is all lit up and decorated in a holiday fashion.

I wish Robby well. This is one of many great places to dine on our little island.
