I've been meaning to get to this place for a while and finally did a couple weeks ago. I really liked it, I probably won't go back very often just because I live pretty close to Le Virtu and Ulivo isn't going to pry me away from LV but if I lived in the neighborhood I'd be happy to have it.
We started with the buffalo mozzarella dish with crispy garlic, very simple but all the ingredients were good to start with (the mozz especially) and the crispy garlic added a nice textural contrast. We tried two pastas, one of which was the ziti with mint pesto and lamb, definitely the best dish of our meal. I wasn't crazy about the one entree we tried, the chicken milanese, but looking at their menu now it seems that that dish has changed a little since I had it so perhaps it was still a work in progress at the time. We also got the crispy smashed potatoes on the side, they were fantastic, some of the best fried potatoes I've ever had.
