I hope people from houston.eats are reading this forum....

This Sunday, April 13, is your once-a-year chance to enjoy authentic home-made Ukrainian food at the Pokrova Ukrainian Church Hall, 9102 Meadowshire, Houston. [I-45 North, Gulf Bank exit, east on Gulf Bank to Meadowshire.]

Luncheon will be served from 11:30am until 5:00 pm. Plates consist of sausage, kapusta (sauteed sauerkraut), cabbage rolls (ground beef and rice), and varenyky (perogies, stuffed with cheese and mashed potatoes). Dishes will also be available a la carte (all above PLUS borshch, Easter breads, pastries, etc.) AND frozen varenyky will be sold to take home and cook later.

Open to the public, nominal charge for food.
