2 to report in Kingston. Had late lunch in Ugly Gus's on Main St on Tuesday. We shared Cream of Asparugus soup, very good. Calamari were perfectly crisply fried, but came with a sprinkling of salt. I had a Proscuitto and Provolone sandwich, excellent dressing and greens, whatever they were. Friend had Shrimp Ravioli with Lobster sauce, which I tasted but couldn't tell because it was wayyyyyyyy too salty. I would go for another try. Roudigan's is now on my list of favorites and cant wait to go back. Its a steak house, just off the thruway. Friend had Hamburger and salad bar. The dressing was excellent as was the Cream of Potato soup on the bar. I had a pulled Porked sandwich which was excellent and hearty. Both were served on grilled/toasted soft portuguese (I think) rolls. Fries were excellent. Couldnt resist Fried Cheesecake, never had it. It was wrapped in a Tortilla, excellent. This is the second time we have stopped in Kingston to explore and Im loving it. PS watch the chopped meat in the Boiceville Market. It may be nice looking meat wrapped around something past its prime.
