We're 3 (maybe 4) women coming down from non-chow heaven Ridgecrest (yep, its me-Shadow again!) to attend the Festival of Books at UCLA. I have been trying to decide on a dinner for Sat. night.
Looking for: near UCLA Westwood area, Brentwood area-(will be too tired after driving the 2 hours to get there and being at the Book Fair all day to drive much further since we'll be staying Westwood/Brentwood area). I've kind of got it nailed down to Italian (but want to make sure the winning restaurant serves dishes other than just pasta-and I do know that authentic places do, of course!) Not too expensive-
(sorry, but, anything over $50 each seems a bit on the expensive end to me-at least for a non-celebration dinner)
Here's what I am thinking of:
I have not found much information on: Tanino, Il Pomodoro or La Bruschetta.
I would love to hear your thoughts/recommendations/regrets on any of these.
And, they may be too expensive? More than about $50
Thank you so much for your time!
