Yes, Uchi is an oft-discussed topic on this board, and I did a search but the threads tend to be short of specific dish recommendations, or old enough that with a frequently (or at least seasonally) changing menu, were no longer relevant.
So, i'm dining there soon after a long absence, what have you tried recently that i shouldn't miss? Something new that i'm likely to overlook?
I have been to Uchiko a few times since last at Uchi, so probably more interested in the menu items that don't overlap both places.
One person in our party is sushi-averse, but swears she's open minded and will make the effort since it's top-notch here, but cooked alternatives currently on the menu would be nice to hear about for backups.
