Tysons oyster/sushi advice needed

Our anniversary/birthdays/Valentine celebration is approaching, and we decided to spend part of it in Tysons. Yeah, I know, how romantic. But the Courtyard By Marriott there has rooms with a king bed and double whirlpool for $129 on weekends...

Anyway, I'm craving oysters on the half shell for my birthday lunch. Is there any place to get them in Tysons other than Legal Sea Foods? And is Legal all that terrible? (goodness knows it's a topic of constant debate on the Boston Chowhound board) Hubby used to love dining at Legal when he lived in the Boston area, but as I've noted before on this board, he is somewhat tastebud-impaired. I'd like to get some feedback from people who actually *like* food. :)

And are there any worthwhile Japanese restaurants in Tysons? The Post and Washingtonian both give positive reviews to Tachibana, but the reader comments on the Post site are pretty negative overall. (we'll probably go to Pilin Thai instead, but it's always handy to know where the good sushi is)
