SO the guy how had such a terrible time at melisse left 14% even when service was so bad.... Why????? if you ordered your steak Medium rare, and it was well done you would send it back. explain to me why you still tipped 14% PLEASSSSEEEEEEEEEE

and the rest of you chowhounders explain to me why you tip on poor service...... id love to sit down with russkar, chino wayne, and explain to you all how the resturant really works...... and you can look me in the eye and say no we dont tip the kitchen, but we still tip on really bad service.....and the tip we leave covers the bus boy, bartender, hostess, etc......and btw the typical waiter at melisse makes about 225 per night........ not bad for a 7 hour shift
