Tuscan (?) baked good, walnuts/raisins

Am seeking name of the excellent scone-like morning pastry I devoured in a Siena cafeteria 10 days ago. Dense, dark, rough, not very sweet at all. The perfect breakfast with a cup of coffee, IMHO. thanks
