This Turkish restaurant has been touted here by a number of people, so we tried it on Friday. Maybe the chef have a really bad day, but I was very disappointed. Boureks and an eggplant salad were good, but the grilled shrimp had definitely been in the fridge a few too many days. My wife's lamb was OK -- nothing special -- but my grilled red snapper was overcooked, seasoned with little more than charcoal, and accompanied by vegetables that tasted like dishwaster. (Is there anything in the world with less taste than a steamed potato?)
We came to the conclusion that there simply is no decent Turkish or Greek food in Westchester.
