Turmeric for health

I want to eat about a T of T. a day for health reasons (knee joint pain).
Apparently it's supposed to be very good at relieving swelling/pain.
Any ideas how to get that much T. into my diet?
I like the flavor OK but I don't want to sprinkle it on everything I eat.
Thoughts?
