Turkish Resturant in Bristol

Had dinner there Sunday for the third time this month...Our dinners, each time for 4 people, included appetisers (usually 3), 3 main courses, tea or Turkish coffee and one or two desserts, sometimes an extra salad, have cost $47, $49, and $52 (before tip) for all 4 people. It is BYO.

The food is wonderful. Sunday we ordered "Kasseri Pida" which turned out to be something similar to a large white Pizza, but buttery and more wonderful than any of us had ever eaten (we are working our way through the menu, trying new things each time).

This place is a vegetarian's dream. We have always loved the Turkish manner of preparing vegetables, and this place elevates it to an art form. The first group of friends we brought with us had recently been to Greece and came with us under protest as they claim not to have enjoyed Greek food.

They have been back for breakfast and lunch.

The staff is not totally fluent in English, but friendly. Ask to see the appetiser assortment rather than ordering from the menu, and they will bring a huge tray from which you choose, as is done in Turkey.
