new turkish in cliffside park...

i was staying with a friend in fairview and walked by this restaurant that just opened.

nazmi's turkish kitchen
442 anderson ave. ste. 1

i ordered the labne...mixed with walnuts, garlic, and a touch of dill. pure heaven!

hummus....i've had better, but i prefer israeli kind of hummus. so i'm sure to someone, this would be delicious. ;)

kofta with tomatoes, eggplants, and chilis. wonderful. perfectly cooked and in a lovely slightly spicy tomato sauce. served with a perfect rice pilaf.

and the salad. typical salad of cucumbers, tomato, onion, vinaigrette. HUGE and perfectly fresh and well seasoned.

i would highly recommend this little gem on anderson ave!
