Turkish/Azerbaijani bread

I was under the impression that the round, thickish flatbread, often sprinkled with sesame seeds that is often served in Turkish restaurants and in the Bukharan restaurants in Forest Hills was called "plov" or something like that. Can someone enlighten me?
