I occasionally buy turkey breast, made in house, at the local Whole Foods. It is in a busy area and the staff seem good and know what they are doing. However, often, when i buy the turkey breast, there is weird lighter textured parts, almost slimy and 'raw' in appearance.
They look like either fat or tendons? I have been told it is not a sign of it being uncooked but i nevertheless still eat around the spots. The turkey seems otherwise cooked - dry almost. However, I always end up stressing when this happens!
I have posted a few photos. Do let me know if this was indeed raw turkey and I shall clear my schedule for the next week! (half-joking here!)
