Does anyone remember or have a recipe for the stuffed artichokes that were served at Turci's Restaurant on Poydras. I ate many of them in the 1950's and 60's. Never had them at the Turci's that existed on Magazine in the 70's.
I remember that the stuffing included pine nuts and had a smoother texture than standard New Orleans stuffed artichokes.
I'm currently experiencing a bumper crop of artichokes in my back yard in Northern California, and would love to have that recipe! Right now I have some stuffed ones steaming from a Richard Collin recipe, which is good, but not the same.
