Tupelo Coffeehouse in East Sac was my home away from home yesterday. I started my day there with a large cappuccino and to use the wifi. A medium roast and well-made, though not as complex as Temple's beans, my beverage was brought to my seat. Then later in the afternoon, I returned to get caught up on some correspondence and tried the Mexican hot chocolate that I found much too sweet. None of the pastries in the case looked that appetizing though I'd love to be proved wrong on that.
Lots of comfortable lounge chairs for hanging out and tables outside for smokers, I parked myself at one of the partitioned off work tables to concentrate. I liked the springy desk chair. I also tried out the communal table for more room to spread out my papers. A much different vibe than its affiliate, Naked Lounge, http://www.chowhound.com/post/naked-l... .
With easy street parking as well as some off-street parking, plus ample seating, Tupelo turned out to be a very convenient work-space.
