Tung Lai Shun Reopens--As a TAIWANESE Restaurant

Chandavkl | Jun 10, 200608:10 PM

So I'm walking by Tung Lai Shun and I see the "Grand Opening" sign but with the same Tung Lai Shun signage and "Zagat Rated" card in the window. I figure based on a previous Chowhound posting that the restaurant was sold but that they retained the same style of cuisine, and kept walking by. However shortly thereafter I ran into a relative who says "Did you see Tung Lai Shun? It was bought by Taiwanese." She then whips out a take out menu and sure enough the menu is unrecognizable compared to what it used to be. I guess I'll try it sometime, but it's sad to see that the old Islamic restauant is gone.
