So in conversation, a few friends and I all agreed that we use the tuna hoagie as a good barometer for the overall quality of the sandwiches at either a deli or even pizza joint. For years, I thought I was the only one who used this gauge, but does anyone else use this?
Even if you don't, I'd love to hear where you can find the best tuna hoagies in the western burbs. To date, Ted's Place in Conshy is the best in my book. Light on the mayo, totally packed with provolone and a little bit of the oil/vinegar mix on top. Perfect!
