it's hard to pry me from TEHUITZINGO but the last couple times i've been in the area, including today, i've gone to TDV (it's on 10th ave bet 46-47th). first visit i had the lengua (tongue) taco and this visit the cecina, salty beef taco. the latter is kind of my standard for a good taco. both were very tasty, nicely done meat and a good bit of it too. wrapped nicely in two soft corn tortillas as god intended. nice amount of cilantro, such a rarity for nyc, was another positive. the only down for me was the creamy guac, the taste was good i just like chunky pieces better. oh, both times i had a fine iced horchata, they make that well too. super nice lady up front also makes you wanna run back there every day. i know i should try some soup next anything else you regulars can recommend?
