This market took over the former Wild Oats market on University. I love all things Thai so went over and checked it out. They have a takeout food counter with an array of yummy curries and Thai stir-fries. I got the 2 entree special - $4.95 for rice, salad and your choice of any 2 entrees. They had this stir fried pumpkin, egg, basil thing that was out of this world. Reminded me of my adventures eating off street carts in Thailand. Their yellow curry was also very good.
I didn't get it this time, but I saw them preparing som yum (green papaya salad) and it was exactly the way that the street carts in Bangkok do. It looked and smelled delicious but I'm saving that treat for next time. It's so hard to find real som yum!
