Ate at this restaurant last night with spouse. It was very crowded.
We started with Dumplings in a green curry sauce which were bland and not very interesting. I had a cup of Tom Yum which was good, though heavy on the vinegar. We shared Pad Thai which is not a very imaginative dish generally, and we found it good but not as good as some. We had Bangkok Steak, which was cooked perfectly, but rather tasteless, and the best dish was a mixed seafood curry with basil and garlic.
The meal as a whole was good, though not remarkable. There are a lot of good Thai restaurants and this one did not stand out though the prices were reasonable. I might add that the service was slow though that might have been a function of how busy they were (although a restaurant should be able to compensate).
I would return but would order differently. If there is a reader that really likes this restaurant, I would appreciate knowing what dishes they order and why they believe that dish to be worthy of mention. Thanks.
