Tuesday, 6/15: Rieslings and Cantonese Chowdown -- two seats left!

Ruth Lafler | Jun 14, 200410:29 PM

The original announcement:

A year ago, a group of hounds explored the pairing of Gruner Veltliner with high-end Cantonese seafood.

This year, fabulously food-friendly German Riesling will tickle the palate.

For this event Melanie Wong and Bryan Loofbourrow have selected a dozen wines surveying a broad range of styles, vintages and regions from their own cellars to accompany the banquet. To take part in this evening of fine Riesling, Cantonese cuisine and wine conversation, a minimum contribution of $30 for Chowhound.com is requested. Additional cost for the Cantonese meal has not been set, but should be in the range of $40/person, inclusive of tax, tip and corkage.

Email ruthlafler@yahoo.com for more information and/or to RSVP. Space is limited.

This is a private, volunteer assisted event. No agency relationship, express or implied exists between any parties and Chowhound, Inc. This is not a Chowhound, Inc. sponsored event.
