T&T waterfront night market 2012

I am sort of apprehensive to post on here based on some backlash I got on a previous post but here goes...

Anyone planning on attending the T&T waterfront night market this year? Have you already gone?

Provide feedback on what you thought about this year's event.

This is our third year going and the consensus was that it was a bit disappointing compared to previous years. This year I noticed that the food stalls were reduced in numbers from last year (which is probably why they have rides to occupy that area).

I get that smelly tofu is a delicacy, but I found that alot of the foods were pretty much serving the same food.

Usual suspects - I think there must have been four smelly tofu stands.
Lots of japanese fish balls (forget the spelling)
Several potato tornado joints
Lots of BBQ skewer stands

Missing in action

Banh Mi boys
Susur's cheeseburger rolls
Taiwan Pork belly bao place that was there last year
Ice cream place with silver leaf and bacon
Filipino quail eggs,
Didn't see any vietnamese places either (that or I missed them)

The line up for PC ice cream was crazy! They should have had two people serving, rather than having one person talk to people while the other slowly scoped ice cream. I miss last year, they had full size ice cream sandwiches.

No giveaways from kraft this year, at least when we got there in the early evening.

They have tables this year, but unfortunatley no one to clean up after lazy people.
