Quoted a two hour wait at 5:30 yesterday, was texted a little over 90 minutes later. You're offered a choice of thick or thin noodles when ordering one of the numerous udon offerings (hot, cold, bonito broth, "creamy" or curry broth, beef, pork, shrimp, uni, ikura) and can have a "large" portion of noodles (equivalent to "one and a half" portions, according to our enthusiastic server) at no extra charge.

SO felt the uni and ikura offerings (an app with gelee similar to one at Autre Kyo Ya, and cold thin udon) were good quality for the price. Tuna tartare cones, shrimp dumplings, nabeyaki udon and katsu don (yeah, I'm perverse that way) were more or less on par with other existing NYC options; broth perhaps a bit deeper, house-made noodles perhaps a bit toothier. Lady M green tea crepe cake, as well as water cake, for dessert.
