Tsuruhashi in Fountain Valley

Hi everyone,

Went to Tsuruhashi this last weekend for a midnight snack - on Brookhurst. It's kind of like manpuku bbq on sawtelle where you grill the meat. We had a few items because we all had already had dinner.

Everyone got a light salad to start. We ordered the cucumber kimchi which was more like pickled cucumbers, chinese style, than korean style kimchi. We had the rib eye inside, which was tender, fatty and yummy. We had hearts - which I believe were cow hearts because they were way too big to be chicken hearts, chewy and tasty but I prefer chicken hearts. Salted Beef Tongue was flavorful, and so was the lemon sauce and the other sauce that you dip in. Lastly we had the KoBE BEEF and wow, buttery, melted in your mouth and just dreamy. I'm still thinking about it.

If it weren't so far, I'd go again soon.

I believe this is the address:
Tsuruhashi (714) 593-8393 -
18798 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA
